Biography

I am a fourth-year PhD student advised by Prof. Stanley Chan at the Intelligent Imaging Lab. I received my BSc degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with First-Class Honours from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, in 2020. I am currently working as a research assistant under the JUMP 2.0 Semiconductor Research Corporation program. Prior to joining my current lab, I worked on spectral imaging for remote sensing and its applications. My current research focuses on single-photon LiDAR simulation, reconstruction, and compression. My research interests include image processing, signal processing, machine learning, remote sensing, and computational imaging.

I am currently seeking a summer internship in remote sensing and computational imaging, where I can apply my background in signal processing and machine learning to real-world sensing problems.
