Biography

I am a third-year PhD student advised by Prof. Stanley Chan at the Intelligent Imaging Lab. I received a BSc degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with First-Class Honours from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, in 2020. Currently, I am working as a teaching assistant. Before joining my current lab, I worked on spectral imaging for remote sensing and its applications. My current research focuses on single-photon LiDAR simulation, reconstruction, and compression. My research interests include image processing, signal processing, machine learning, remote sensing, and computational imaging. I am a dedicated, determined, well-organized, and energetic individual seeking opportunities to advance scientific research in signal processing and machine learning. I am committed to introducing innovative ideas and scientific solutions to address real-world challenges.
